The Municipality of Pototan is known for its Iwag Festival of Lights since 1997, eventually earning the title as ‘Christmas Capital in the Visayas’. By night, the town proper of the said municipality is lit by a striking arrangement of lights, and the plaza transformed into a magical, mystical haven filled with food and tourists. Mapols Farm, too, joins in the fun.
Heaven on earth. Mapols Farm, owned by couple Paul and Mai Perez, is tucked 2.4 km from the Pototan town proper. A farm transformed into a recreation center and R&R haven, Mapols Farm continues to excite guests with a parade of offerings. Mapols’ is perfect for meetings, day picnics, and special events such as birthdays, weddings, and baptisms, team building activities, group activities, or just plain relaxation. Mapols is also perfect for overnight camping! On a tight budget? Fret not, the entrance fee is Php 20 (sightseeing only).
