Just recently, MORE Power Iloilo announced via social media that there will be a 13-hour maximum power interruption in areas serviced by the LaPaz substation. The said brownout will happen on June 14, from 4am to 5pm. According to the distribution utility, power interruption is important for conduct corrective and comprehensive preventive maintenance.
It can be recalled that preventive maintenance operations were conducted in other substation (Jaro and City Proper) in the previous weeks. According to MORE, preventive maintenance is integral in preventing future power interruptions.
