95% of PUMs in Iloilo Finishes 14 Day Quarantine


According to the Provincial Health Office, 95% of the 11,799 persons under monitoring completed their 14-day home quarantine, respectively. Only 465 persons under monitoring left are being monitored, and 68 were classified as ‘lost of follow-up’ or could not be accounted for. Moreover, the province has listed 79 persons under investigation as of Saturday.

To date, there are 15 confirmed cases in the province, four among them died. On the other hand, there had been no confirmed case in the province from April 08 to 11, according to Patricia Grace Trabado, Provincial Health Office Chief.

By far, the province’s mortalities include the following:

  • 94-year-old male from Miag-ao (region’s Patient No. 31)
  • 70-year-old male from Lambunao (region’s Patient No. 16)
  • 58-year-old male from Guimbal (region’s Patient No. 22)
  • 59-year-old female from Barotac Nuevo (region’s Patient No. 10)

The 11 other COVID-19 cases were the following:

  • 51-year-old female from Guimbal (region’s Patient No. 18)
  • 65-year-old male from Guimbal (region’s Patient No. 2)
  • 39-year-old female from Lambunao (region’s Patient No. 27)
  • 41-year-old male from Lambunao (region’s Patient No. 28)
  • 70-year-old female from Lambunao (region’s Patient No. 29)
  • 48-year-old female from Lambunao (region’s Patient No. 30)
  • 44-year-old female from Lambunao (region’s Patient No. 25)
  • 22-year-old female from Miag-ao (region’s Patient No. 12)
  • 25-year-old female from Barotac Nuevo (region’s Patient No. 36)
  • 50-year-old male from Pavia (region’s Patient No. 37)
  • 52-year-old female from Pavia (region’s Patient No. 38).
