A Gamechanger: The Mansion Introduces New Executive Chef

The Mansion, a prominent landmark in the City of Love, is proud to introduce its new Executive Chef, Arnie G. Pineda. Chef Arnie is a definite gamechanger in The Mansion’s culinary offering. The Pampanga native has worked with renowned chefs and six star hotels, locally and internationally.



Chef Arnie’s most notable culinary experience was working with Chef Wolfgang Fischer for five years in the Emirates Palace Hotel in the Middle East, then a six star hotel. He has also worked at the Constance Lemuria Luxury Resort in Sychelles, Biella Pizzaria Ristorante in Qatar, and at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. The seasoned chef has also pre-opened five stars hotels in the Philippines when he returned from abroad, namely Solaire, City of Dreams, Novotel Manila Araneta Center, and Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City to name a few. Chef Arnie has als worked with world-class chefs Sasha Gaullsmann, Jacques Ledu, and Jean-Luc Grabowski.

Humble beginning. Chef Arnie’s passion for cooking began when he was forced to cook at the age of eight for the household while his parents were out to toil in the fields. Born in Pampanga to a poor family, Chef Arnie is the eldest of five and he would always look for ways to cook for his siblings, mostly from whatever he can find in their backyard. By fourteen, he was determined to immerse in the culinary world. His first experience was a commercial kitchen job as a ‘comis’ or line cook at seventeen and worked his way to Chef de Partie at twenty years old. From then on, he went to work at notable and world-class hotels abroad.

Chef Arnie has received numerous recognition for his culinary prowess. He was runner up in Gourmet Abu Dhabi 2012; a consistent Employee of the Month in 2004 in Qatar’s Biella Pizzaria Restaurant as Demi Chef de Partie, and in 2012 as Jr Sous Chef at the Emirates Palace Hotel. Chef Arnie is ISO 2000 Certified; ServSafe Certified and HACCP Certified.

As the new Executive Chef of The Mansion, Chef Arnie will cater to the hotel’s promise to bring in world-class dining experience. A definite gamechanger, Chef Arnie’s strong skill in a vast range of international cuisine and kitchen management is expected to bring extraordinary renovation in the hotel’s menu and kitchen operation.
