Balt Chavez, among those who initiated Bigby’s presence in Iloilo City, shares his thoughts on the brand and their journey in bringing the famed restaurant to the metro.

“Sang college pa ako, love ko gid ang Bigby’s. Nagdako gid ako sa Bigby’s. And we love to travel and swak gid sa amon ang Bigby’s. It’s like when you eat at Bigby’s, you travel around the world. The story of Bigby’s 25 years is written all over the menu,” starts Balt Chavez, recalling his reason for choosing Bigby’s among any other food franchise.

Chavez is also proud to share the restaurant’s new menu for the new year, this includes fruit and nut salad, lasagna formaggio, flavored chicken wings, pesto chicken pizza, fisherman’s platter, belly buster, and cheesecake trio, among many others.

“The world is changing, we need to be adaptive about it. Aton restaurant is Instagrammable. People nowadays don’t go para makaon lang, they want to experience what it is.” he continues, detailing that the new menu is part of the brand’s adaptive process to the changing demands of diners.

“It’s like how you start your journey with Bigby’s, you start your journey here and when you come back, you miss the food sa other countries. It’s like you’re coming home to Bigby’s,” he adds.

To date, Bigby’s is present in major cities in Visayas and Mindanao.
