Cafe Gloria: Nestled along Quezon Street in Arevalo, Cafe Gloria is a neighborhood cafe serving premium coffee – their signature coffee blend is said to be sourced from Colombia, Brazil, and Indonesia. Moreover, the restaurant is also said to have collaborated with Pastry Chef Kim Hesni for the cafe’s cakes and pastries.
It was an unplanned visit on a Wednesday night. The interiors are striking – wooden tables and chairs with a sofa set at the far end of the room. Books on a bookshelf, flowers and interesting pieces decorated the cafe. We had spam and eggs and, guess what, spam and eggs panini (as suggested by Algene). It was a hearty meal and I give this place a two thumbs up.
Some of the house specials include: Loco Moco, a Hawaiian version of the burger steak at Php 215 | Pork Steak, a 7 oz pork steak pan-fried in olive oil and served with rice at Php 235 | Southern Fried Chicken at Php 175 | Crispy Pork Belly at Php 165 | Sausage Platter, three pieces Hungarian sausage sliced and pan-fried and served sizzling hot at Php 225
