Moreover, Dr. Roland Jay Fortuna also announced that, after attending a meeting with the interagency task force, a new decision tool was presented in classifying PUMs and PUIs. It was decided, as of March 10, that any person who has traveled to countries with local transmission of Covid-19 are automatically considered PUMs, and if these individuals show any symptoms, they will be automatically classified as PUIs.

Dr. Fortuna revealed that some Iloilo City Hall employees have traveled in countries with Covid-19. Thus, a cleanup and sanitation of the Iloilo City Hall is deemed necessary.

Iloilo City Mayor Treñas had given instructions to the City Administrator and Chief of Staff to instruct employees to go home for the afternoon. Moreover, Iloilo City Hall will resume its operations tomorrow. Treñas also revealed that there will be employees requested to go on voluntary quarantine for 14 days.
