City Government Forms Ad-Hoc Committee for Gradual ECQ Lifting

The Iloilo City Government, through Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas, signs Executive Order No. 065, an executive order creating and establishing an ad-hoc committee to formulate and prescribe policies for the gradual lifting of the enhanced community quarantine in Iloilo City. The committee will be chaired by Dr. Roland Jay Fortuna, Iloilo City COVID-19 focal person.

The committee is composed of the following members:

  • Ms Annabelle Rosario Blancaflor (Vice Chairperson)
  • Engr. Jinny Hermano, Iloilo City Treasurer
  • Atty. GV Eutiquio Cunada, Iloilo City Legal Office
  • Mr. Norman Tabud, Iloilo City Business Permits and Licensing Office
  • Mr. Jeck Conlu, Public Safety and Transportation Management Office
  • Dr. Annabelle Tang, Iloilo City Health Office
  • Hon. Allan Zaldivar, Chairman, Iloilo City Council Committee on Family
  • Hon. Lady Julie Grace Baronda, Iloilo City Council Committee on Disaster Risk Reduction
  • Mr. Nelson Uygonco, Consultant for Security
  • Mr. Robert Uy, Representative, Multi Sectoral Group
  • Mr. Jobert Herrera, Representative, Urban Poor
  • Engr. Terrence Uygongco, Representative, Iloilo Business Club
  • Mr. Francis Gentoral, Representative ILED
  • Atty. Jobert Peñaflorida, Representative PCCI

The duties and functions of the committee will include:

  • Regularly meet to discuss gradual lifting of ECQ
  • Formulate specific protocols in line with WHO, IATF, and DOH
  • Coordinate with government agencies re: protocols
  • Submit regular reports to City Mayor and Council
  • Recommend the adoption of measures
  • Perform other tasks assigned by City Mayor
