Duterte: ‘Brighter Days are Coming’

Duterte: ‘Brighter Days are Coming’: President Rodrigo Duterte is confident that brighter days are coming in his new year message while in Davao City with his family. Duterte firmly believes that Filipinos will welcome 2021 ‘wiser, stronger, and more prepared for challenges ahead.’

“Let our grateful hearts guide and inspire us to always do good and make a difference in the world. I am confident that all of us will see brighter days ahead because we believe in the indomitable spirit of the Filipino,” states President Rodrigo Duterte.

Duterte: ‘Brighter Days are Coming’: The year ended with a total number of 474,062 COVID-19 cases with 439,796 recoveries and 9,244 deaths. “The COVID-19 pandemic may have cost us so many lives and material resources, but we also learned from it. We realize the value of human life and our relationships with each other,” Duterte adds.
