Fried Towel Mishap: ‘Unang kagat, tuwalya agad’, seems to be the case when a netizen posted photos of a seemingly fried chicken at the surface but, unfortunately, is an actual fried towel. The netizen received her order from a fast food chain via a food delivery service.

“Order chicken for my son, while I was trying to get him a bite, I found it super hard to even slice. Tried opening it up with my hands and to my surprise a deep fried towel,” she begins (*last name has been omitted to protect privacy).
“This is really disturbing. How the hell do you get the towel in the batter and even fry it? Yung totoo? I really thought that the post complaining about weird stuff in their orders were just all made up, now I know that it really happens,” she adds.
*Alique lambasted the fast food chain and stressed that there is a first for everything and this was her ‘worst first’. She also mentions the health implications of a towel contaminating the batter along with the other chickens cooked with it.
