Grab to Introduce GrabCar to Iloilo City

In a media roundtable, Grab Philippines Country Head Grace Vera Cruz talks about the developments and plans of Grab in Iloilo, including the possibility of GrabCar in the metro. GrabCar allows private vehicle owners to operate and earn via the app. Vera Cruz says that the GrabCar application in Iloilo is pending LTFRB approval, but is positive that it will be implemented in Iloilo soon.

Following the announcement of its intention to introduce GrabCar to Iloilo City, Grab bares application requirements to those who want to join. Those interested can look for Christian Yee or Ed Solafrana at the 2/F The Galleria Atria, Pison Avenue, Mandurriao, Iloilo City

Requirements:

• Photocopy of Government ID to prove citizenship and legal identity of the petitioner; a photocopy of the OR of the ready unit as proof of ownership; a photocopy of the CR of the ready unit as proof of ownership
• Proof of financial capacity of petitioner bank (bank certificate); DTI; BIR certificate of registration/Mayor’s permit
• Photocopy of police clearance; Photocopy of NBI; statement of financial capacity
• Picture of a garage as proof of the existence of garage; sketch of the garage; inspection report (from LTO); photo of unit (each side, front and back side, dashboard and back of the car)
