IATF: Boracay Tourists May Take COVID-19 Test 72 Hours Prior to Trip

Those planning to go to Boracay may undergo swab test 72 hours prior to the trip – according to new guidelines. It may be recalled that the RT PCR test must be taken at least 48 hours prior to the date of travel. Moreover, only those who tested negative within the 48-hour timeline can enter the island.

Moreover, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) strongly advises travelers to observe strict quarantine after undergoing swab tests until the day of travel to Boracay.
