In an article by Inquirer, it was reported that the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease now allows mass gathering in higher education institutions in areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). The announcement was affirmed by Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
“Pinayagan na rin ang mass gatherings sa higher educational institutions, ngunit kailangan silang sumunod sa existing guidelines sa ilalim ng MGCQ,” states Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, during the Laging Handa press briefing.
Moreover, Roque allowed the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to resume its technical-vocational education and training (TVET) programs in General Community Quarantine areas while face to face TVET training is only up to 50% of site capacity.
