Iloilo Business Park Highlights ‘Dinagyang for All’: Megaworld Iloilo Business Park is poised to be the ultimate Dinagyang destination as it will be hosting star-studded events, food festivals, and cultural attractions, all the while celebrating inclusivity and diversity in Iloilo City. With the theme ‘Dinagyang for All’, the 72-hectare property welcomes guests of all ages and from all walks of life as it takes part in one of the biggest festivals in the country. Here are some of the anticipated events from January 19 to 28.
The Dinagyang Art Festival, slated for January 24, is set to showcase Iloilo’s vibrant culture and arts. The event will feature masterpieces by local artists at the Iloilo Contemporary Museum of Culture and Arts (ILOMOCA)
Dinagyang Food Festival, set to be the longest food fest with more than 200 participant merchants, will highlight Iloilo’s gastronomic bests. The food festival is in conjunction with Iloilo’s inclusion as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. The event will have performances from Nobita and will be situated along the stretch of Java Road, as well as the Festive Walk Parade.
Pepsi Night is set to happen on January 25 and will be graced by renowned artists and bands. Moreover, the Dinagyang Music Festival, with special performances from DJs Victor Pring, Dara Carmina, Arvin Ong, and the Patequeros, is set to happen on January 26 along Java Road inside Iloilo Business Park.
Another event, the Coke Studio, scheduled for January 27, will be graced by ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ Janine Berdin, along with top local bands Alamat, and Tropa Vibes. The event will also be along Java Road.
One of the most anticipated events, the Dinagyang Kapamilya Karavan, is set to happen on January 27, headlined by ‘Linlang” celebrities Paulo Avelino, and Kim Chiu; ‘Senior High’ celebs Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, Gela Atayde, Tommy Alejandria, and Daniela Sanner; and ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ stars Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings.
Furthermore, the Dinagyang Iloilo Business Park Light Show is set to happen from January 24 to 25 at Plaza Delgado. One of the festival’s main highlights, the ILOmination in the Sky, will happen on January 26.
Megaworld Iloilo Business Park is also set to showcase the best of Iloilo in terms of local produce and homegrown products. Local delicacies, produce, garments, accessories, and more will be highlighted at Iloilo’s biggest trade fair, the Iloilo Business Expo (ILOBEX). The event will feature more than 100 exhibitors from the metro’s community of small to medium enterprises. Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Iloilo Chapter, the fair will take place at the Festive Walk Mall Atrium from January 19 to 28.
Last but not least, the festivity will also highlight several creative displays: the Dinagyang Family of Dolls Exhibit at the 2F of Festive Walk Mall and the Dagway Face of Festival Exhibit by world-renowned photographer Manny Librodo will be at the mall’s indoor atrium.
