Iloilo City had its first flag ceremony in the ‘new normal’, three months after the locality was placed under community quarantine due to the coronavirus outbreak. The flag ceremony was led by Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas.

Treñas proceeded to thank donors, employees, volunteers, barangay officials, and stakeholders for supporting the city’s efforts in battling the pandemic. The mayor also reiterated the importance of physical distancing, wearing of facemask, frequent handwashing, use of alcohol or sanitizer, proper hygiene, and strict compliance to health and safety protocols.
