Iloilo City Gov to Allot P100 Million Fund for COVID Vaccine

The Iloilo City Government, via social media post, shared that the city will be allocating Php 100 million fund for the COVID-19 vaccine once it becomes available in the market. Aside from the vaccines provided by the National Government, the city will secure a separate budget for the Ilonggos.

“As early as now, we are preparing for the P100-M fund for the COVID-19 vaccine once it becomes available in the market next year. Aside from the vaccines provided by the National Government, we shall also secure a budget to ensure that a huge number of our Ilonggo families will be given vaccine. We will have the frontliners of the Iloilo City Hall and our barangay officials as our priority as they continue to serve the Ilonggos in this time of crisis. We don’t know when the vaccine will be available, but as far as Iloilo City is concerned, I want to assure you that we will purchase vaccines for you and your families. Ululupod kita sa pagbangon,” excerpt from the social media post of the Iloilo City Government.
