Iloilo Province Governor Arthur ‘Toto’ Defensor, in a press conference, plans to extend the province-wide enhanced community quarantine to May 15. Moreover, the governor will be recommending the move to the Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19.

Update. As of 02:11pm, in a post by Panay News, Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas states that he will convene with Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. and Chief Executives in Panay Island regarding the possible extension of the enhanced community quarantine to May 15.
Update. In a post by Balita Halin sa Kapitolyo, Defensor admits that he is planning to extend the enhanced community quarantine but not under the same terms and conditions. He also added that he is not implementing any lockdown exit plan but a ‘transition plan’ instead.
