Ilonggo Jade de Leon calls for donations for Taal eruption affected communities. A social media post was made calling for donations – specifically clothes, face masks, diapers, blankets, slippers, and other supplies necessary. Moreover, de Leon has also opened her home to serve as a drop-off area for donations and has assured the public that all will be turned over to iVolunteer Philippines.
“Hello everyone! In light of the recent events happening in Taal, we are organizing a donation drive for the victims (most especially children) affected by the calamity. To our fellow Ilonggos, we will be there over the weekend (January 18-19). So if you/anyone you know would like to donate, we will set-up our drop off location at No. 1 Chapel road, NHA Mandurriao, Iloilo City (Housing Mandurriao, near Brgy. Block 22 Plaza). We can also cater to meet-ups near Megaworld/SM City Iloilo. Just send us a message to confirm. Rest assured, all donations collected will be properly endorsed to iVolunteer Philippines,” states Jade de Leon in her Facebook post.
Those who would like to donate can drop off items at No. 1 Chapel road, NHA Mandurriao, Iloilo City (Housing Mandurriao, near Brgy. Block 22 Plaza).
