One of Ilonggo favorites is JD Bakery Café with branches distributed in different areas in the metro. However, due to the enhanced community quarantine, it is sometimes hard to enjoy restaurant favorites without any delivery service available.
Thus the bakery café partnered with GrabFood, a food delivery service, to bring all-time favorites such as baked mac, bread, meals, and more available to the public who are currently confined to their homes as part of ECQ protocols.
“We’ve taken your requests into consideration and have decided to partner with Grab to make it easier for you to order your favorite JD products. We will pilot three of our branches (E. Lopez Jaro Brand, General Luna Roadhouse Brand, Infante Ave. Molo Branch) for delivery services effective April 17. Taking into account demand and health and safety considerations, we have revised our menu offering with GrabFood until further notice. Select branches will remain open for takeout should you wish to order items that aren’t available on the app,” excerpts from an announcement made by JD Bakery Café on its Facebook page.
Moreover, the bakery café assures that its staff practices regular handwashing, cleaning of all workstations, and sanitizing of surfaces. Social distancing measures are also imposed in-store between staff and Grab drivers.
