Just recently, it was reported that retired NBA superstar Kobe Bryant was among the casualties in a helicopter that crashed near Calabasas in California. Moreover, his daughter Gianna was also among the nine people that perished in the deadly crash.
In an article by New York Times, it was stated that the sheriff’s department will be holding a news conference at 8pm Pacific Time (11pm Eastern) to provide updates about the crash. In the same article, it was stated that the NBA sent a confirmation of Bryant’s and daughter Gianna’s deaths to all teams and league employees last Sunday afternoon. Kobe Bryant was a renowned American professional basketball player where he played his entire 20-year career as a shooting guard in the National Basketball Association with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant has won five NBA championships, an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All NBA Team, a 12-time member of the All-Defensive Team, and was hailed NBA Most Valuable Player in 2018. Bryant has been regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time and was the first guard in NBA history to play at least 20 seasons.
