Article sourced from Reuters: Mexican authorities are investigating the case of a 32-year-old female physician who was hospitalized after receiving Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. The doctor, whose name was not released, was admitted to an intensive care unit in Nuevo Leon after experiencing seizures, difficulty breathing, and skin rashes.
The Health Ministry, in a statement, revealed that the initial diagnosis is encephalomyelitis. Encephalomyelitis is an inflammation of the brain and spinal cord. Moreover, the Health Ministry added that the patient has a history of allergic reactions and that there is no evidence from clinical trials that anyone has developed any inflammation of the brain after receiving the vaccine.
