Just recently, More Electric and Power Corporation deployed teams to the northern part of Iloilo to aid Iloilo Electric Cooperative, ILECO 3, in repairing distribution lines hit by Typhoon Ursula. The team from More Electric and Power Corporation consisted of electrical engineers and linemen with trucks and equipment to provide relief assistance to hardest hit communities.
It can be recalled that More Electric and Power Corporation has been granted franchise via Republic Act 11212 to establish, operate, and maintain, for commercial purposes and in the public interest, a distribution system for the conveyance of electric power to the end users in the City of Love, Province of Iloilo, and ensuring the continuous and uninterrupted supply of electricity in the franchise area, signed into law February 14 and made effective March 6 of the same year.
Moreover, More Electric and Power Corporation claim to have an abundant supply of digital meters, meter boxes, electric poles, concrete poles, steel poles, tools and equipment, and a mobile substation. Furthermore, the company assures that its investment will be for reliability improvement, system loss reduction, capacity and power quality improvement, and safety improvement.
