MORE Electric and Power Corporation issues statement on the employee who tested positive for COVID-19. Here is the company’s official statement:
“We regret to inform the public that despite strict compliance by MORE Power with health protocols, an employee assigned at our Customer Services Office in Hotel Del Rio tested positive for COVID-19. Please do not be alarmed. We are issuing this statement to remain transparent and to reassure the public that we have prepared for this eventuality. In keeping with IATF guidelines, the employee concerned was immediately placed under quarantine,”official statement of MORE Power.
The distribution utility added that it will be temporarily closing its payment center, currently in Hotel del Rio, on October 08 for disinfection purposes. Meanwhile, online payment options are made available.
“Our payment center in Hotel Del Rio will be temporarily closed on October 8, 2020, as we disinfect the area and place our on-site staff in quarantine after RT-PCR swab testing. We are cooperating with health officials to ensure that the virus does not spread. For your safety and convenience, systems have been put in place to allow online billing and online payment. Our 24/7 hotlines are also available to address your concerns and inquiries. We will continue to monitor the situation and update the public. MORE Power is committed to not only delivering excellent service, but to protecting the public and our employees from this pandemic,” from the official statement.
