Php 50,000 Reward Versus Vandalism in Iloilo City

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treňas was dismayed after a palm tree along Diversion Road in Mandurriao was destroyed by vandals. In a Facebook post, Treňas aired his sentiments and offered a Php 50,000 reward to anyone who can provide more information regarding the identity of those who wrecked the palm tree.

“It breaks my heart seeing these palm trees. That is why I am very much willing to give a big amount of money (50, 000 Php) just to find out who is responsible for this, and to impose and promote discipline as well,” states Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treňas in a Facebook post.

The said palm tree is located in front of Plazuela de Iloilo beside Petron.

In our desire to bring Iloilo to the next level, dapat tanan kita ma bululigay,” adds the City Mayor.

Netizens were quick to react and expressed their disappointment online.
