Authorities have recently identified the 12 persons who allegedly participated in a ‘pool party’ amid COVID pandemic. Party goers are said to violated Regulation Ordinance No. 2020-066 (An Ordinance implementing physical distancing as a response measure to prevent the spread and/or local transmission of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Acute Respiratory Disease or COVID-19 in Iloilo City).
According to Police Major Francisco Paguia of the Iloilo City Police Station (ICPS) 1, the names of the individuals who participated in the said party have already been identified and forwarded to the Iloilo City Legal Office (CLO). Moreover, the CLO is expected to make a report on the information given by the ICPS.
“They provided us with initial information. From there, we made a check and later arrived in knowing their identities,” states According to Police Major Francisco Paguia of the Iloilo City Police Station (ICPS) 1.
Paguia thanks the netizens who have helped identified the individuals from the controversial ‘Wanderpool Party’ video. Moreover, based on the information of the ICPS, most of the partygoers “cannot be considered as rich kids or anak mayaman”.
