The Public Safety and Transportation Management Office (PSTMO), headed by Jeck Conlu, recently visited barangays in the City of Love to remind residents against the use of firecrackers outside designated firecracker zones.
PSTMO Head Jeck Conlu also reminded the public that perpetrators caught in the act will face serious consequences. Moreover, there are designated firecracker zones in district and barangay plazas that adhere to the mandated 100 meters distance from residential areas.
The PSTMO will continue to monitor the streets until the New Year celebration.
It can also be recalled that the Philippine National Police a list of prohibited firecrackers. Among the prohibited firecrackers are piccolo, watusi, giant whistle bomb, giant bawang, large hudas belt, super lolo, lolo thunder, atomic bomb, atomic bomb triangulo, pillbox, boga, kwiton, goodbye earth, goodbye bading, hello Columbia, and goodbye Philippines.
