Reno Liver Spread is now back in the market after its manufacturer secured a Certificate of Product Registration (CPR), a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) official revealed. It may be recalled that the FDA, in an advisory, warned the general public against purchasing and consuming unregistered food products, including then unregistered Reno brand liver spread.
According to FDA, regulatory laws require processed food operators to secure authorization to check if both the company and their products pass the regulatory body’s standards before they could be released to the public.
“Itong liver spread wala ng kulang na dokumento at pumasa sa ating panuntunan,” states FDA head Eric Dominggo, in an interview with Teleradyo. Read more: Reno liver spread secures product registration, back in shelves, in an article by ABS CBN News.
