First Serviced Residences in Iloilo: Asia’s real estate giant CapitaLand with its subsidiary The Ascott Ltd is geared to introduce the ‘serviced residence’ concept through Citadines Amigo Iloilo. According to Daniel Wee, country general manager of The Ascott Ltd Philippines, Ascott is the largest international hospitality company in the country. It has 25 properties, nine of which are already operational, and a total of 4,300 units located in strategic locations around the country.
“We are on track to achieve Ascott’s target of 6,000 units in the Philippines by 2020, as we continue to expand through management contracts, franchises, investments, and strategic alliances,” states Daniel Wee, General Manager of Ascott Limited Philippines, in an article by Business World.
The serviced residence offers a modern “apart – hotel”. 121 apartment properties offering three types of units: Studio, Studio Executive, and One Bedroom Deluxe. All apartments offer a selection of modern amenities: an ensuite bathroom, split air conditioning, and wireless internet access. Moreover, selected apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and dryer making it suitable for their clientele. The entire structure, meanwhile, offers function rooms, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and an all-day dining restaurant.
Citadines Amigo Iloilo is the second Citadines property outside Manila, and the fifth in the country following Citadines Salcedo Makati, Citadines Millenium Ortigas Manila, Citadines Bay City Manila, and Citadines Cebu City.
