Skinetics Wellness Center

Skinetics Wellness Center

Skinetics Wellness Center, a first of its kind in the region, offers comprehensive and holistic services centered on wellness. The property, nestled along Pison Avenue, Smallville Complex in Mandurriao, houses several establishments focused on improving health and overall well-being.

The brainchild of dermatologist Dr Yule Garcia-Quiampang and husband Rommel Quiampang, Skinetics Wellness Center was established in May 2003 and now operates as a Skin Clinic, Medical Spa, and Boutique Hotel. Housed in a five-story structure, Skinetics is manned by highly trained professionals, aestheticians, and therapists.

“Skinetics Wellness Center started way back in 2003 in General Luna, a concept by Dr Yule and Sir Rommel. They were able to come up with their dream of putting up a wellness center,” states RV Quiampang, Manager.

Before its current name, the establishment was known as Skinetics Medical Day Spa and Skin Center. It was later on changed after the company transferred to its current location.

Skin Clinic

The Skin Clinic, located at the 2F of the building, provides a wide range of services focused on maintaining healthy skin and treating skin-related conditions. Services include Intense Pulse Light Therapy (IPL), Microdermabrasion, Electrocautery, and Sclerotherapy, to mention a few.

One sought-after service is IntraGen, a non-invasive skin treatment method that utilizes radio frequency for overall skin tightening, toning, and rejuvenation. Apart from lifting the lower jaw and neck area, the treatment also works on the nasolabial fold and chin line for a ‘V shape look’, as well as reduces skin pores for an improved skin texture.

Moreover, another revolutionary technology at Skinetics is the Discovery Pico. The only machine in the region, Discovery Pico is among the latest in fractional skin treatments, benign pigmented lesions, and multicolor tattoo removal.

The center is also open to ambulatory surgery, as well as invasive cosmetic and plastic surgery such as rhinoplasty (nose lift), alarplasty (nose trim), chin augmentation, breast augmentation, and liposuction, among others.

Medical Spa

Skinetics, an industry leader in medical spas, is a founding member of the Spa Association of the Philippines, Inc. (now PhilWell) and is a Department of Tourism Accredited Spa. In 2011, the company passed the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology, a European body awarding standards for body massage. In 2010, Skinetics became a registered trademark under the country’s Intellectual Property Laws.

“Skinetics specializes in different massage services. We offer Thai, Traditional Hilot, Moxa Ventosa, Hot Stone. Our signature massage is therapeutic massage, a combination of Swedish and Shiatsu,” explains Quiampang.

The medical spa includes services focused on stress reduction, skin care, slimming, and contouring. Another unique treatment is hydrocolonics, also known as colon cleansing. The treatment is intended to relieve bloating and constipation, and improve nutrient absorption in the colon.

Boutique Hotel

To fully provide an all-embracing wellness treatment, the center opened its boutique hotel with four (4) superior rooms, two (2) presidential suites, one (1) executive suite, and one (1) family suite. With costs ranging from P2,500 a night to P14,000, the hotel offers spacious rooms, king-sized beds, flat-screen television, and complimentary toiletries, among others. Moreover, all check-in includes free breakfast and a welcome foot massage.

Its family suite, uniquely designed to comfortably fit up to 10 persons, has two (2) bedrooms and one (1) loft bedroom, a living area, a dining area, a kitchenette, and a powder room.

Ohana Cafe

“For me, what makes Ohana Cafe different would be its nostalgia when it comes to food, since it is a 30-year-old restaurant. Every time families get together, they would reminisce about old times. Not only does the food taste good, but it also brings back memories,” says Quiampang, describing the ambiance of Ohana.

Ohana Cafe, nestled on the GF of the property, serves authentic Japanese cuisine developed by a Japanese chef more than 20 years ago. Specialty dishes include sashimi, maki, sukiyaki, tempura, agemono, teppanyaki, donburi, and teriyaki, among others.

Amongst the forerunner Japanese restaurants in the metro, Ohana Cafe remains one of the most sought-after restaurants offering quality Japanese food.
