With the tagline ‘Eat Thai, Love Thai’, Soi opened a branch in Iloilo City last February 9. Soi is a casual full-service restaurant that offers a broad line of Thai cuisine, including bestseller Pad Thai. Located on the ground floor of SM City Iloilo, the restaurant assures that ingredients are carefully selected and imported from Thailand.
Revel in authentic Thai cuisine. “You don’t have to fly out of the Philippines to satisfy your Thai cuisine cravings” – this is the vision of restauranteur Maritel Nievera prior launching the first ever Soi Restaurant in 2010 at Robinsons Place Manila. The sole aim of the restaurant is to give diners the ultimate ‘Thai experience’ in their dishes. To date, Soi has branches in Glorietta, Alabang Town Center, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, Robinsons Place Manila, SM Seaside Cebu, and now in SM City Iloilo.
Qualities of Siam Cuisine. Thai cuisine is known for its aromatic components and medicinal properties. Thai cuisine does not settle for simplicity, but stirs an assembly of contrasting elements to create a perfectly blended finish. Most popular Thai dishes include the following: Tom Yam, Pad Thai, Som Tum, Pad Kra Paw, and Kao Pad.
