In partnership with Maxicare, one of the pioneers in the Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) industry, employees at Startek’s Iloilo campus are the first BPO industry in the Philippines to gain access to a Health Pod. This is in response to a clamor for easy access to healthcare. Startek Philippines Inc led by Parry Nagpal, COO for the Philippines, has provided our Iloilo employees with easy access HealthCare right at our office doorsteps.
The Startek Maxicare Health Pod is a fully automated, self-service system where employees can consult with a care coordinator or doctor through the pod’s telemedicine interface. The pod is specially equipped with medical devices that allow for basic diagnostics, such as blood pressure, temperature and BMI, which are integrated with the pod and provide initial test results to a doctor for immediate reference during the tele-consultation. Additionally, employees will be able to secure a letter of authorization via easy access to the Maxicare portals making scheduling for healthcare visits faster, quicker and more accessible than ever before.
