Currently being embraced by key cities Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Iligan, Hirna is now set to offer its innovative ride hailing app in Western Visayas. Lauded as reliable and safe with zero booking fee, Hirna was launched in Iloilo today, July 26th, at Lifesprings Community Center. The launching was graced by Local Economic and Investment Promotions Office Head Ritchel Gavan, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Iloilo Officer-In-Charge Janet Solinap, and Association of Taxi Operators of Panay President Engr Perfecto Yap. Also present is Hirna Mobility Solutions President and Chief Executive Officer Francisco Mauricio. Also present are representatives of taxi franchises and media outfits.
“We are really excited to improve the quality of lives of the commuters in Iloilo and Bacolod. With the launch in these key cities, our vision of uplifting the Pinoy’s taxi ride experience continue to be realized,” according to Francisco Mauricio, Chief Executive Officer and President of Hirna Mobility Solutions.
The largest taxi operators associations in the region have partnered with Hirna for its operations: the Association of Taxi Operators in Panay (ATOP) for Iloilo City and Taxi Operators of Negros Occidental (TONO) for Bacolod City.
“We have looked for a reliable, technologically superior and affordable ride hailing app for some time now – and now the search is over with Hirna’s entry in Iloilo”, says Association of Taxi Operators in Panay (ATOP) President Perfecto Yap. “For now, we have around 500 taxis in Iloilo and 400 taxis in Bacolod as part of the Hirna network. We expect this figure to increase when advertising efforts and word-of-mouth awareness kicks in.
