Iloilo City to Host WordCamp Philippines 2026: WordCamp Philippines 2026 will take place at the Iloilo Convention Center on August 28 and 29, 2026, bringing the country’s WordPress community to Iloilo City for two days of learning, conversation, and connection. The event will welcome developers, designers, content creators, marketers, business owners, students, freelancers, agencies, and WordPress users from across the Philippines and abroad.
“Iloilo was chosen with intention. Its central location, growing digital and business community, rich heritage, and reputation for warmth make it a fitting home for a gathering shaped by technology and people. Attendees will come for the sessions, but they will also experience the city itself: the food, the culture, the hospitality, and the conversations that happen between talks.”
WordCamps are local, community-organized events held around the world. They are non-profit, volunteer-led, and built for people who use, build with, contribute to, or are curious about WordPress.
“WordCamp Philippines 2026 is about bringing people together to learn, share practical knowledge, meet collaborators, and experience the strength of the Philippine WordPress community,” said the WordCamp Philippines 2026 organizing team. “Hosting it in Iloilo gives us the chance to welcome people into a city known for connection, culture, and care.”
No prior WordPress experience is required to attend. WordPress is the free, open-source software behind more than 43% of the web, from personal blogs and business websites to online stores and publishing platforms. The event welcomes students, beginners, bloggers, designers, developers, marketers, freelancers, agencies, business owners, and experienced WordPress professionals from across the Philippines and abroad. Attendees can expect talks, workshops, contributor activities, community conversations, and chances to meet people working across WordPress, digital business, design, development, content, marketing, and open-source technology.
