The Department of Health Western Visayas Center for Health Development releases its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #13 detailing the health status of the area considering the COVID-19 pandemic. The agency, in a summary, revealed that a total of 391 PUIs in the region tested negative from COVID-19. Moreover, out of 18 results released as of April 07, two came out positive (11%). The agency also added that three cases have recovered – WV1 and WV9 from Bacolod, and WV3 from Iloilo City.
The two new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Western Visayas are as follows: 1) WV 37 is a 50-year-old male from Pavia and close contact of WV 11, asymptomatic and under home quarantine; 2) WV 38 is a 52-year-old female from Pavia and close contact of WV11, asymptomatic and under home quarantine also.
